New Testament scholar Jeremiah Johnston explains why he believes the Shroud of Turin is authentic, tells story about how Jewish technical photographer Barrie Schwortz became convinced it was authentic.
"If you're a medieval forger, how are you gonna know about AB blood?"
"I believe that based on the evidence in the 102 academic disciplines that have studied over 600,000 research hours in it... I believe that because I'm not irrational."
"I went from skeptic to believing in it based on the science..."
"It is an itemized receipt of how much Jesus loves you."
Remarkable.

🚨 Simulation Theory: The Double Slit Experiment proves particles act like waves until observed then they snap into particles.
What if our reality only "renders" when we're looking, just like a video game optimizing resources?
Check out this episode from The Why Files breaking it down, tying it to Simulation Theory. Are we in a sim?
This could be the key to unlocking the true nature of existence!
The Why Files video did a great job on explaining the Double Slit Experiment & Simulation Theory

Evidence for the existence of Jesus Christ:
𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐬:
1.Tacitus (Annals) - A Roman historian who mentions Jesus in the context of His execution by Pontius Pilate during the reign of Emperor Tiberius.
2.Pliny the Younger (Letters) - A Roman governor who wrote to Emperor Trajan around 112 AD seeking advice on how to deal with Christians, acknowledging their worship of Christ as a god.
3.Josephus (Antiquities of the Jews) - A Jewish historian who provides two references to Jesus: one mentioning Jesus as a wise man and the Messiah, and another where he describes the martyrdom of James and identifies him as the brother of Jesus called Christ.
4.Suetonius (Lives of the Caesars) - Mentions an incident involving “Chrestus,” which some scholars believe refers to Christ in the context of disturbances in the Roman Jewish community.
𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞:
1.Ossuaries and Inscriptions - Some archaeological findings, like the James Ossuary (controversially associated with James, the brother of Jesus), bear inscriptions that may reference figures from the New Testament.
2.Early Christian Symbols - Various artifacts, such as fish symbols and inscriptions found in catacombs and on pottery, indirectly testify to the worship of Jesus and the spread of Christianity.
𝐎𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐖𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬:
1.The Didache - An early Christian document outlining moral teachings and church practices, reflecting early Christian beliefs about Jesus.
2.The Apostolic Fathers - Early Christian leaders like Clement of Rome, Ignatius of Antioch, and Polycarp wrote letters and texts that discuss Jesus and the implications of His teachings.
𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐬:
1.The New Testament - The primary source for information about Jesus, including the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), which provide accounts of His life, teachings, death, and resurrection.
2.Apocryphal Gospels - These include texts like the Gospel of Thomas, the Gospel of Peter, and others that were not included in the canonical New Testament but offer different perspectives on Jesus’s life and teachings.
𝐍𝐨𝐧-𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐬:
1.The Talmud - Jewish rabbinical texts that make oblique references to Jesus and early Christianity. These references are generally hostile and critical, often disputing Christian claims about Jesus.

I wish Nigerian websites built for Nigerians can use Nigerian slang/lingo.
“Loading” make it “it’s network dear”
“Please be patient while we xyz” make it “don’t be angry, we are coming”
“Error” make it “wahala wahala”
Fun fact: Did you know that we always discuss our learnings after every evangelism?
We get to learn, share our wins (of souls saved) and encourage one another.
Reconcile is truly a training ground for anyone who wants to boldly share the gospel and we hope you join us. ❤️☺️
