@RedNinetyFour It’s ironic how well viewed Stone is to the general NBA pundit as a top 10 GM to how poorly Morey was viewed in those years since he treated “players like assets”.
Moreso, Rockets fans defended Morey despite that backlash then while most of us are ready to see Stone go now lol
@RedNinetyFour Our talent evaluation has been mid to honestly trash in the Stone admin.
Early Morey was feasting on the late 1st to mid-2nds picks. Brooks, Landry, Parsons, Hartenstein.
Our talent evaluations hasn’t evolved to the rest of the top teams.
@BradeauxNBA They still need a A1 superstar to bring it all together an elevate the rest of the team.
Now more unlikely anyone on the team now is that guy.
Once we get that guy, the rest of the team is set up. But until then, it’ll be rough.
@BimaThug@fyrebear Fred was an under 6ft average starting PG who shot like 37% from the field and couldn’t pressure the rim.
Now he’s coming off a major injury.
Anything above 20M AAV is an overpay.
Would rather move asap on if possible.
@RedNinetyFour I can never forget when Reed hit a three against the Nuggets and almost called Tim Hardaway a dumbass if not for him being mic’d up that game lol
Cocaine Curry lives on
@RedNinetyFour I wish he would have wanted to win Games 1 and 2 as badly as 3. Game 2 was abhorrent.
Sengun has been our best player during this rebuilt but he’s just too inefficient and has never developed his three point shot enough to warrant being a franchise guy.
@JonesOnTheNBA Finishing as the 2nd seed last year obviously gave them a false sense of encouragement.
They were probably the 6-7th best team in the West.
@RedNinetyFour This was the first time in my 20+ years of watching that I actually forgot we had games and wouldn’t scramble to the TV to watch. Even in the rebuilt, I’d have it as background noise.
Shouldn’t be this way with KD, Amen, Sengun on the team but it was just not worth the time.
