Mewakili sahabat-sahabat termasuk Saudara Nik dan beberapa orang lain yang mengusahakan acara hari ini, sekali lagi saya mohon maaf atas segala kekurangan.

Saya berharap orang ramai yang hadir, yang mengikuti live streaming, bertanya soalan yang sama yang saya selalu tanya kepada diri sendiri.

Sebenarnya kita ni nak apa? Tidak cukupkah apa yang ada? Kebanyakan dari kita ada hidup yang memadai. Kita tidak kaya tetapi kita tidak miskin. Kalau kita rasa hidup kita susah, ramai lagi yang lebih susah dari kita. Sebahagian besar dari kita tidak berniat memegang jawatan awam, kita lebih selesa dengan kehidupan yang ada.

Jadi kenapa nak susah-susah? Kenapa nak bersesak-sesak dalam dewan ini, dah lah bas tidak disediakan. Kena bayar duit sendiri ada lah.

Saya tanya soalan ini berkali-kali kepada diri saya. Dan saya ada tabiat kurang baik – saya tanya soalan dan saya jawab sendiri.

@codebluenews infuriating that the investigation ended with such statements! Basically saying “we did nothing wrong!”, then push all the blame to the victim. A DOCTOR DIED. Steps ought to be taken to prevent this from happening (ie improve channels for feedback or expand mental health service)

TIL that one of my recently retired, highly acclaimed surgeon had completed his training prior to the widespread use of CT scans, hence he never learned how to read a CT scan.

Can’t imagine how differently he would be practicing surgery back then.

Today, instead of having gentlemen in charge, we have bureaucrats and managers

Those bureaucrat and managers don't live around or have any idea about normal people, even those working under them. They never do the work, never see the work, and avoid those who do the work as best they're able, all while feigning a sense of total, unearned superiority to them

So you get people running a company who have no idea how it actually operates and the work gets done, people sending soldiers to die who never even knew a soldier, much less fought as one, and those who constantly pretend to be "normal" while nursing a constantly aggrieved sense of superiority

You saw this in the leftist outrage that Trump had an easy time packing fries at McDonald's; to them, such a job is so foreign as to be both seen as impossible and utterly derided at the same time
