Bro! this phase is brutal.
They don’t just leave.
They have to make you the villain first so they can sleep at night.
Every soft thing you ever told them, will be used as a weapon against you.
Every “I’m so proud of you” and “I love how hard you work”? Suddenly flipped into “your job’s pathetic” and “you’ll never amount to anything.”
You start trying harder because that’s what good people do, and they just sit back and enjoy watching you squirm. It feeds them.
You’re standing there confused, still loving them, while they’re already halfway out the door (or already idealizing the next person). And no matter what you do... plead, shut up, try harder, you’re the bad guy.
It’s not about you. It never was.
They didn’t love you. They loved what you could do for them. Once that utility ran out, the mask came off.
If you’ve lived this phase… you know exactly how it feels to watch someone you love systematically tear you down.
Drop a 🔥 if this one hit different.
They say everything is bigger in Texas, but Skattebo don’t give a damn!
Sometimes you gotta bully the bully, and he started in the first quarter and didn’t stop until the Giants walked it off with the game-winning run in overtime!
People got ran over, tackles got broken, and celebrations were on repeat. My man had folks in compromising positions all afternoon! 😂😂

Kevin Garnett tells Tony Allen and Zach Randolph that a single open run he had with a group of NBA players including Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen made him realize he wasn't going to college and would instead enter the NBA straight from high school. He noted that making just one bucket during that run changed everything for him.
