Landed on the cover of Pandora's AMP Fresh Cuts music playlist! In an age of algorithms and AI, I really appreciate that the curation was by a human 🙏 @pandoramusic
My latest song, A Home Here, marks the first time I’ve featured a flugelhorn. Love the rich and mellow sound, played wonderfully by Sophie Manoloff. Making a song with only a few elements (vocals, piano, and flugelhorn) felt nourishing amidst a landscape of limitless tracks and AI music. Slow art with real musicians is more vital than ever!

My new song, A Home Here, was inspired by what’s most important to me - family life. I’ll take meals together, bedtime stories, and watching children grow over anything else. Love the flugelhorn solo at the end of this clip, played marvelously by Sophie Manoloff.

Happy to release a new song, A Home Here, today! It’s a heartfelt ode to putting down roots and building a life with intention. Letting go of external validation and finding nourishment from the core. No AI, just organic piano, vocals, and flugelhorn.

Hymne à l'amour (Hymn to Love). This deeply moving song by French singer Édith Piaf was released in 1950. She wrote wrote a poem dedicated to her lover, boxer Marcel Cerdan, who had died in a plane crash. Longtime collaborator Marguerite Monnot then set it to music. At the 2024 Olympics opening ceremony, the song was performed by Céline Dion for her live performance comeback after battling with health complications for years. My father requested I play this timeless song. #piano #edithpiaf
Caught up with one of my favorite singer-songwriters, @dawenmusic, in the best way I know how. A run through Central Park, followed by some impromptu, unplanned singing around my piano. My wife caught this moment while we were jamming for the first time.
Excited for your upcoming music Dawen, and looking forward to a return visit to Taiwan!
Thrilled to share! I had the privilege of singing in the tenor section for Patti Drennan’s breathtaking acapella choral album, Requiem of Light, nominated for a GRAMMY in Best Choral Performance today! Congrats to Patti, Emily, and the entire team. Honored to be a part of this 🙏 #GRAMMYs
Some current thoughts. Been seeing more and more AI-generated music infiltrate the music ecosystem. Giving prompts to an AI (who will then model their output from real creators’ work) feels like a race to the bottom. Modern tools are astounding, but imagine if a vehicle took you everywhere so you never used your capable legs, or you always outsourced your life decisions to Chat GPT. Your autonomy would ATROPHY. Why would one do that when making music, where the entire point is to express your humanity? Where the journey of making music IS the destination? I actively avoid AI in my music making for the same reason that I move my body each day… gotta use what you have or lose it.
Fun recent interview with @theindiegrid where I reveal my motivations for making music. This interview feels more personal than other ones that exist of me on the internet. Hope you enjoy: https://t.co/z2rHZfehmF
Bringing a genre-blending soul-pop anthem to the limelight, Jerry Jean (@JerryJeanMusic) and Chloé Hogan (@thechloehogan)'s latest single, ‘Keep Breathing’, is an expansive call for authenticity in the modern world.

I wrote Keep Breathing as a reminder to cultivate life beyond social media, beyond digital avatars. In an age increasingly airbrushed and infiltrated with AI, it’s an anthem for being human. A joy to bring this to life with @chloehoganmusic.

"...a slow-burning anthem that builds with intention, wrapping its message of presence and honesty in elegant instrumentation and soulful textures." - @MusicCrowns
New duet, Keep Breathing, with @thechloehogan is out today! This song is a call for authenticity in the social media age. Serving up the absolute perfect visual or caption online can be crippling, yet what people actually desire is authenticity, not inhuman avatars. Keep Breathing is a reminder to breathe, unplug, and to be yourself.

From this weekend. Keeping up the tradition of ring swinging during the summer solstice. Surprisingly, there are only a few of these setups in the world. The rings here are at Riverside Park in NYC. Happy summer solstice ☀️ #travelingrings
