when I was 11 I watched porn for the first time

I don’t have an addiction to cocaine, weed, alcohol

I had an addiction to porn for 10+ years of my life

some people don’t really get just how harmful it is to our brains (I didn’t either)

I find it to be the same as casinos & gambling

You want a quick dopamine release to create unrealistic expectations for your life

I finally quit a year ago when I started focusing on my mental health

It’s been a f*cking battle, tbh

I had plenty of relapses over the years but thankfully I got it under wraps last year & it has improved my relationship significantly

I was pretty uncomfortable talking about it but I feel like a lot of people are going through the same struggle I faced

These days I definitely have my moments where I’m bored on my phone & want to relapse

After about 3 months it gets a hell of a lot easier not to do it

Your will to want actual women & not watch porn increases drastically

It’s power men & you watching other people having sex in front of you isn’t helping you in any way

Your brain learns based on the synapses it receives

If something feels extremely rewarding it’ll keep doing it

Example is Heroin

If you do Heroin for the first time I’ve heard you feel wonderful

Then you keep doing it over & over chasing that first high and ruin your life

I’ve seen countless crypto bros make it & get hooked on cocaine which later ruined their lives

If you can find your weakness & addictions you can begin to hone in and try to destroy them

Mental health is worth more than any money you might make in the crypto space I promise

So yeah, if you’ve been feeling the same way I’ve felt since I was a kid you’re not alone

If you have kids & you find them watching porn because they’re curious

I don’t think the approach of letting them watch as much porn as they want is helpful in any way

It’s a real addiction & a child’s brain is not wired to handle these sorts of addictions

Your frontal lobe fully develops after you hit 25

Treat it like you would alcohol or any other major drug profile (cocaine, etc.)

Sugar & Porn are the silent killers of our generation
