The trades I regret most are not the losses.

They are the wins I did not deserve, and the setups I skipped for no reason I can point to.

Losses inside the rules are just the cost of the business. Nothing went wrong.

But a skipped valid setup does not show up anywhere. There is no red number. It is invisible in every performance metric you track, and over a year it can cost more than every bad trade combined.

Which is why I log skips now. The absence had to be made visible.
