Apparently some journalism student learned that American Democracy was 300 years old. Maybe said network journalist should take a refresher course in government and civics.
This impeachment has convinced me that every American should be required to pass a civics class and serve on a jury. Juries make decisions on the case prosecutors bring them. They don't give them witnesses to strengthen a weak case.
@Speedymolina92 @KamalaHarris According to the President of Purdue University, Mitch Daniels, ease of government loans and money, is the biggest driver of college costs.
@tedlieu@GOP@justinamash Teddy ..... The President during the election was President Obama. I believe he is on record saying the Russians tried to interfere but had no affect on them. After all, Russia has been messing with the U.S. since Woodrow Wilson.
@joncoopertweets Why should it matter. Mueller said they could not find evidence enough to prosecute in a court of law. Until our founding documents and rule of law goes away, that is a presumption of innocence
@MarshallLocke Our constitution and rule of law is a person is presumed innocent until proven guilty. It needs to remain that way because it is difficult to prove one is not guilty of doing something that never happened.
@ChrisEvans Only problem is there are very few people who will support anything Kristol is associated with. Bottom line is if you believe in our constitution, it is very difficult to obstruct something that never happened .
@CeasarA3@Mimirocah1 @NellSco @Comey @ScottFeinberg Durham is the one that may put him there, thanks to Barr. It wouldn't be the first bad lawman Durham has notched on his belr
@Sharon08242@steph93065@mich614@cspan@gtconway3d Yes it had secured information redacted, otherwise half the investigators would be in jail and it had information that would violate the rights of those determined to have done nothing wrong withheld. That is standard practice at all court levels.
@mich614@cspan@gtconway3d They are not co-equals. Each branch has specific powers and if all of them do their job, we get checks and balances with reasonably intelligent results.
@Sharon08242@steph93065@mich614@cspan@gtconway3d First, Under the law he did not have to release any of the report because of a change in the law brought about by Nadler and other Dems after Clinton investigation. Second, Congress is not entitled to the redacted information. Those with the right security clearance
@RealAmyJoelle@gregoryy2k@AmyMek@philadper2014 Socialism wasn't popular when we covered conflicts and the negative results from it. But in the early 2000s we started worrying about being culturally ( politically) correct.
@RealAmyJoelle@gregoryy2k@AmyMek@philadper2014 One does not have to teach what to think. If we teach and illustrate past mistakes and the results of those mistakes, most people will figure it out.
