Finished field season at Twin Cities Army Ammunition Plant. Demo of source clean-up using bugs and trees for 1,4-dioxane, TCE, etc. Works great! Removed 1,4-D from 100 ug/L to 1 ug/L; TCE from 20 ug/L to 0.2 ug/L. Best of all: trees transpired all the water. ZERO DISCHARGE!

Today, the WMO released the #StateOfClimate report. In 2023, the hottest year ever documented, records were broken for greenhouse gas levels, ocean heat and acidification, sea level rise, Antarctic sea cover, and glacier retreat.
