UNM Lobos get the official word on the commitment of 6-foot-9 forward Benjamin Schuch of Austria, who played most recently with a club in Spain, in addition to with the Austrian National Team.

The freshman-to-be averaged 13.4 points, 9.1 rebounds and 5.9 assists for Austria in last year's FIBA U20 EuroBasket competition.

He posted the news on his Instagram account.

Great season for our Lobos! Although I would’ve loved to play for a championship I was very happy with how this team played with the uncertainty of the offseason. Nowhere to go but up from here and improve for next year. Se you all next season! Go Lobos!
