So glad I got the opportunity to hear Lester Laminack speak about writing, children literature, and do some read aloud. I have learned so much from this conference!
We had great night at JES Enchanted Forest literacy night! Thank you to all the parents who came out to learn new strategies to use at home with their child. @JES_tigers@WCDE_TN
“Home shapes all of us...” we have been reading Towers Falling in RTI. I have enjoyed listening to the students discussion, analysis, and connections they have had with this book. This has been a great book to open discussion about why we remember 9/11. @library_jes@Jes4th
3rd and 4th grade EPIC crew had a great first day! These friends were chosen by their classmates as students who show responsibility! These students greeted friends with smiles and fist bumps, walked with them to gym, and helped with breakfast! @JES_tigers@Jes4th@WCDE_TN
So grateful and thankful to be able to share great books w/students. JES Book Clubbers finished reading Where The Red Fern Grows following up with a private showing of the movie and then Fuddruckers. What a way to end the year! @matt_combs10@luya_ginger@JES_tigers@Jes4th
4th graders ‘Walk Through History’ wax museum was amazing! Thank you to all of the parents and students who came to support these hard working students! They did such a good job researching, writing papers and speeches! I have some FANTASTIC 4th graders! @JES_tigers
"You help out other people and you get to meet new friends." What more could you ask for? This morning on @WJHL11 how this group of @JES_tigers 4th graders @WCDE_TN is learning engineering skills and using a 3D printer... all to help a fellow student.
So proud of these kids! They got to celebrate their poetry this evening with cookies, awards, and an opportunity to hear some great poems! So proud of them placing in local and district competition! @JES_tigers@WCDE_TN
