The Traffic Commandant Mr. Benjamin Mwanthi, CP, today officially opened NCO Traffic Management Course (TMC) 1/2026, in the Traffic Training School – Ngong

The course seeks to strengthen the knowledge, leadership, discipline and professional competence of Non-Commissioned Officers in traffic management as they prepare to serve motorists and the public with renewed commitment.

Speaking during the opening, the Commandant commended the Deputy Inspector General Kenya Police Service for reviving and operationalizing the institution.

He emphasized the importance of the training saying that discipline, integrity, professionalism and service to the public is key"Traffic enforcement must be firm, fair impartial and lawful- resist corruption, favoritism and abuse of authority."

Also present was the Deputy Director, Training -Police Headquarters, Mr Reuben Muli CP.
