We had an extraordinary and valuable time connecting with industry leaders from around the Nordics and the rest of the world and exploring the knowledge of the panel speakers 🤝

The event was hosted by the incredible @nordicblock team and everything from the panels, the oceanfront location at Langelinie, the side events at the City Hall and the Meatpacking District and last but not least the food was superb.

📢 Less than 24 hours until @ethereum #Shapella upgrade!

⏰ Scheduled for 22:27:35 UTC on April 12th, 2023.

What will happen:
- First major #Ethereum network update since The Merge which consists of two parts (Shanghai + Capella) and will activate on the Ethereum network at epoch 194048.

- The Shanghai part of the upgrade will end the lock-up period for staked ETH. Validators can now un-stake and re-stake ETH without any lockup period to earn staking rewards. This is the execution part.

- Will progressively unlock $33 billion worth of staked ETH.

- The Capella part of the upgrade will focus on the agreement part, the consensus mechanism of the Beacon Chain. It is now possible to check the whole history of blocks that led up to a certain point, without needing any extra information apart from the current state and the blocks themselves. This is helpful in making sure that the information in the blocks is accurate and hasn't been tampered with.
