@Tracykate78 What a fantastic idea! When we were stationed in the UK we frequented the pubs often and it was a popular neighborhood activity for locals. What a great "out of the box" idea!
@j_champ21 According to the list you posted, my self care is not great. I have been trying to take more time for myself lately and have started running again. I have found that this helps to decrease my stress and anxiety.
Sometimes all it takes is a new approach or point of view....like “prioritizing rehabilitation and resocialization” #SUSocialWork https://t.co/xjJ9zjB9iP
@agingerich11 I have seen families struggle with difficult medical diagnoses and make decisions that were more based on emotion than the facts at hand. At the same time, it is usually the parents who know the child best. In either case, the outcome is very sad and I feel for the family.
@VeliaMBJ I have a child in elementary school and they are tasked with a minimum of 20 minutes of reading per day. What started as “homework” has really become more of a habit and something he really enjoys.
@hholmes4 What a timely tweet! I just watched the presentation this week and this very topic was mentioned. I just read one article that stated part of the problem was SRO's in schools. I have never heard this and I think more research is warranted. Did you touch on this in your debate?
We were just discussing our political views last week. What if we empowered others to restore civility in our democracy?

@benechmeyer Thank you for sharing this article. For many, death is not an easy subject to discuss, but as this article shows, it may mean the world to the individual or their family to have someone by their side in their last moments on Earth.
@Lisamdn_nguyen It's amazing how supportive co-workers can completely change your work environment. I am very lucky to have some very amazing co-workers.....and classmates to boot!
Please take a moment to remember as the anniversary approaches. I might not live there anymore, but my heart will always be in Colorado. #SUsocialwork

@hholmes4 I sat next to a refugee on the train last weekend. We didn't speak the same language but he was the most considerate gentleman and helped my son tie his shoe. I wish that people would focus on humanity and not the differences between one another.
@Alejand47821795 One of the prisons we lived near in Wisconsin made courses for GED mandatory and offered an amazing culinary arts program for the prisoners. During a tour of the facility visitors were able to sample the culinary creations of the inmates.
