A nation doesn’t heal by pretending it’s not wounded.
Today, we entrust the United States to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the pierced Heart of Christ, wounded for love of us and still calling souls home.
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.

Authority under Christ isn’t for control or status.
It is given to heal, restore, serve, and proclaim the Kingdom.
“Without cost you have received; without cost you are to give” (Matthew 10:8).

June begins under the sign of the Sacred Heart. ❤️🔥
As the United States prepares for consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, may our nation, our homes, and our own hearts be entrusted again to Christ.
Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.

@USCCB@ArchbishopFabre@ArchLouKY A timely and needed call to turn again to Christ. May the Sacred Heart of Jesus heal what is wounded, strengthen what is weary, and draw our nation back to His merciful love.
Love isn’t simply something God does.
Love is who God is.
In the Trinity, from all eternity, God is Love: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Creation is a gift.
Salvation is that Love revealed in Christ and poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit.

John the Baptist didn’t flatter them.
He witnessed to the truth.
Chief priests: “By what authority are you doing these things?”
Jesus: “Was John’s baptism of heavenly or of human origin?”
They froze.
If they said heavenly, they’d have to admit they refused him.
If they said human, they feared the crowd.
So they chose evasion:
“We do not know.”
Jesus answered, “Neither shall I tell you by what authority I do these things.”
John came in camel hair and truth.
They came in robes and fear.
When heaven speaks, will we recognize it?
Or hide behind “We do not know”?
John’s witness still calls us:
Repent. Believe. Surrender. 🙏

The fig tree had perfect leaves.
The temple had perfect crowds.
Both looked alive.
Neither bore fruit.
Jesus never settles for the look of faith, He wants the fruit of it.
He doesn’t separate worship from mercy,
prayer from forgiveness,
or leaves from real fruit.
Where is He inviting you to be cleansed today?

“Woe to me if I do not preach it!” 1 Corinthians 9:16
Saint Paul VI didn’t water down the Gospel to fit the modern world.
He engaged the world with witness, became “all things to all,” yet never changed one word of the truth.
The Gospel isn’t ours to reshape.
It’s ours to proclaim.

Christ doesn’t gather living stones so they can remain scattered. 🪨
Saint Peter reminds us today to crave the pure spiritual milk of God’s word so we can grow into salvation.
But he doesn’t leave us there. He calls us from personal nourishment straight into shared mission.
We come to Jesus, the living Stone, and we ourselves become living stones, not by our own effort, but because we “let ourselves be built” into a spiritual house.
Through Baptism we are made temples of the Holy Spirit.
In the Eucharist we are joined more intimately to Christ and to one another.
Our lives are no longer random pieces lying on the ground; God gathers us and sets us into His holy work.
The mercy you’ve received is meant to shine through how you live.
Where is the Lord asking you to “let yourself be built” this week?

Bartimaeus is blind, broke, and sitting on the side of the road while everyone tells him to hush.
He keeps crying out anyway: “Jesus, Son of David, have pity on me!”
Jesus stops the whole procession for one desperate man.
Two words change everything: “Call him.”
What if the thing we’re too afraid to keep asking for is the very thing Jesus is waiting to give?
Bartimaeus throws off his cloak, names his need out loud, and leaves the roadside to follow Jesus.
Bartimaeus kept calling.
Jesus answered.
What’s stopping you?❤️🔥🙏

Today we honor the Memorial of Saint Augustine of Canterbury, Bishop ✨
St. Paul shows us the true heart of evangelization:
courage without deception, paired with the tenderness of “a nursing mother caring for her children” (1 Thess 2:7).
Courage without charity becomes pride.
Gentleness without truth becomes weakness.
When both walk together, the Gospel shines like Christ Himself.
St. Augustine carried this spirit into England and changed history.
St. Augustine of Canterbury, pray for us!

@NCRegister The Eucharist is the heart of Catholic life. When Christ is carried through the streets, the Church offers America a reminder of where true renewal begins: in worship, repentance, and hearts turned back to Him.
@EWTN@catholiccapps Looking forward to this episode. The Eucharist is the source and summit of Catholic life, where Christ gives Himself fully to us and sends us out to live as His disciples.
Jesus is already walking ahead on the road to Jerusalem, fully aware of everything waiting: betrayal, mockery, the Cross. ✝️
The disciples are amazed. Those following? Straight-up afraid.
James and John don’t want distance from Jesus, they want front-row seats to His glory.
Jesus doesn’t shame them. He corrects them with one piercing question:
“Can you drink the cup that I drink?”
Then He flips the script on leadership forever:
“Whoever wants to be great among you must be your servant… and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all.”
Because the Son of Man didn’t come to be served, He came to serve and give His life as ransom for many.
This Gospel still wrecks every worldly definition of power.
The Cross always comes first.
