Some fun student responses when making a book using the app Pages for the iPad in our classroom! #CertifySPS

[Jessica Botts @JessBotts]

The app Pages for Apple is a great tool to use in the classroom! Its a fun way for students to tell their own story and illustrate their own pictures! It can even work well in an early childhood setting. #CertifySPS

Students worked independently to create a pizza using shapes on the App Seesaw. After they had completed the task I was able to give them feedback on their work. #CertifySPS #Seesaw

[Jessica Botts @JessBotts]

Seesaw is a great tool to use in the preschool classroom. It gives students the responsibility of working independently and then the teacher can give them feedback on their work. #CertifySPS #Seesaw

A4: Flipped learning pushed me to try tools ahead of time and made me excited about trying them in my classroom. It gave me time to become familiar with the tools before having to implement them. #certifysps

[Jessica Botts @JessBotts]

A3: The advice I would give: Take it one step at a time! Go slow and don't overwhelm yourself by trying everything at once. Pick something and become an expert in that tool! #certifysps

[Jessica Botts @JessBotts]

A2: By implementing @dotstorming my students have been able to share their opinion/vote about how they feel about our learning. We also use @dotstorming for them to vote on future learning. Which provides choice for students! #certifysps

[Jessica Botts @JessBotts]

@MsRobbins5 @dotstorming Since my students are pre-k they can not read yet. We use a lot of pictures/visuals. I use it for voting or telling their opinion about our learning. I also use it for them to vote on our future learning. #certifysps

[Jessica Botts @JessBotts]

A1: The use of the app Learning Genie allows me to keep anecdotal records, videos of students, and pictures of students and their work. Then it is all in one place when we do our assessments on our students. #earlychildhood #certifysps

A6 Take your time and don’t overwhelm yourself with being an expert at flipped learning in the beginning! Don’t reinvent something that is already out there! #certifysps

[Jessica Botts @JessBotts]

A5 Giving students choice within flipped learning will motivate them to take ownership of their work. #certifysps

[Jessica Botts @JessBotts]

A4 You can hold students accountable by having them produce something that shows the learning that took place. #certifysps

A3 The Ts becomes the facilitator to learning that promotes problem solving, questioning, and thinking outside the box. The teacher is not just feeding the information, but guiding students to take the initiative in finding and learning the information for themselves. #certifysps
