@arielthemidwife I was told my son would have Down syndrome, was heavily pressured to abort. He will be 25 this year and is perfectly healthy thankfully. The more I hear similar stories and the pressures, the more I wonder as well.

@MrPitbull07 Geez some of these comments. Homeschool. I did with both my kids. One was easy, one was more challenging, but I do think it was for the best. The amount of time needed each day was about the same as what it took for me to help with homework.

@stratkomdotcom @FrMatthewLC All I’m going to say is, I was told with my oldest may be born with DS. I still had him, declined any further tests while pregnant bc I was informed those could cause more risks. Today he is 23 and doing great. No DS. Glad I hadn’t drs advice, she kept suggesting abortion

@MChowdry @Acyn My kid didn’t want to be homeschooled bc school lunches were so good…then Michelle Obama’s change took effect and they both stopped eating at school and were starving when they got home 🤷🏻‍♀️ maybe some places needed the change, clearly not all.

If it turned out to be nothing, then Trump could have resumed back on stage. No lives lost. Since clearly this was a threat, it could have prevented loss of life/injuries.
