@StagecoachSouth Hi Kya. Please see attached - as you can see the app showed this bus was running nearly 25 minutes late. As it is now past the time, I can’t screenshot the live update but the entire time we were waiting, the app was showing the bus’s location as being in Godalming High St.

@StagecoachSouth do you know what has happened to the number 71 bus 10.14 from Chiddingfold to Guildford please? The app said it would arrive at 10.38 but no sign & according the map, it’s currently in Godalming High Street! Any update?

@StagecoachSouth any news on the school bus to Rodborough- no. 71, supposed to arrive at Chidd at 8.02? No sign of it & no update on the app. Lots of kids waiting to get to school!

@StagecoachSouth once again, the school bus 71 from Rodborough to Haslemere cancelled this afternoon leaving a large number of children standing by the side of the road for 1.5 hours in near freezing conditions. This bus must be prioritised & better options provided.

@StagecoachSouth @RodboroughSch Delays always expected as are pretty much a daily occurrence but this week we are looking at 30-45 min delays to a school service. You have already changed to time to 35 mins after school ends, further delays are putting children in danger at this time of year. Please review.

@StagecoachSouth please advise what is happening with the school bus 71 from @RodboroughSch to H'mere? Sch ends at 15.25 but you recently changed the bus time to 16.00. Yesterday it arrived at 16.20 & today it is already not due until 16.41 - 1 hr 15 after school ends. Appalling.

And this timing will likely only get worse - the expected time has got a minute later in the time I have typed this.

@thameswater no water in Chiddingfold for over an hour. Your staff say you’re aware of the issue but nothing on your website & no updates received - could you give an idea of when we might get our water back please?!

@StagecoachSouth your bus stops say all buses to & from Chidd are cancelled but you’ve put nothing on here & your app says they are still running. Please could you clarify? Around 50 school & college kids with no idea what’s happening!

@StagecoachSouth you have stopped all buses to/from Chiddingfold (despite no road closure) but did not mention this until the Fri eve before the change begins on Mon am. What provision has been made for the school/college kids that rely on this service daily? @RodboroughSch

@StagecoachSouth there are signs in Chiddingfold saying that the 71 bus won’t be running for the next 6 weeks as Petworth Rd is closing. Please could you clarify what the actual situation is as this is a school & college bus so there is a lot of concern in the village.

You have already made the service 20 mins later than it was, leaving school children by the side of the road for 35 mins. If you cannot guarantee that it will run on time, the time needs changing urgently for safeguarding.

@StagecoachSouth @RodboroughSch @WaverleyLibDems If you are deliberately making a change to leave school age children wait by the side of the road for a long period, you are absolutely obliged to ensure the service runs without delays. This is a school service & our transport is paid for by the council.

@StagecoachSouth @RodboroughSch @WaverleyLibDems This isn’t acceptable though. This service used to run at 15.41 as school ends at 15.25. You have now changed it to 16.00 which already means they have to wait for 35 minutes after school. We were told that this change would improve service but now children are waiting 40 mins+

@StagecoachSouth @RodboroughSch @WaverleyLibDems It has now arrived but was due at 16.00. This is a new time since June and is already very poor service as school finishes at 15.25. We were assured the new timetable would improve the service but this is not proving to be the case.
