@BMeiselas It's of course purposeful. Neotenic design (playful, childlike characters) makes an autonomous machine seem harmless, approachable, emotionally legible, and forgivable.

@SurrealBlend @zoink Fair. Frankiy, I don't care if they agree with me. And I do think it's worth getting into a discussion about moral standpoints, because the harm this administration is doing is so extreme. The worst thing we can do is be quiet. And normalise it through pretending it is OK.

@SurrealBlend @zoink Normally, I’d agree with you, but we need to draw the line somewhere. Their actions are causing harm and ruining lives because of hateful biases. Companies like Figma and leaders like Dylan should take a stand.

@syswarren For contrast therapy, I do a hot sauna, then a cold plunge, 3-4 rounds. You don’t need to stay in a cold plunge long to get the benefits. It works for me.
