It’s been an emotional few days since Diogo Jota’s tragic death. The news hit me with force, perhaps given I’ve had a similar death in the family in the past (17yrs old, bike accident). When we chose Diogo as our son’s name, we had no idea it would be in everyone’s mouths across the world. This week in Menorca, we met some Liverpool fans at the beach (I speak with everyone while on holidays, i am on of those). When they asked our son’s name, they couldn’t believe it. It was an emotional moment, even. When we left the beach, half the people there knew his name. From now on it’s going to be even more special 🫶
