Tarana Burke, is the founder of #MeToo – one of the most well-known social movements in modern history. She started the campaign to raise awareness of sexual abuse and the pervasiveness of sexual assault this movement encouraged women with similar experiences to speak up❤️
Todays inspirational woman is Li Tingting who organised many protests in China to raise awareness of gender and LGBTQ inequality. In 2012 Tingting arranged a demonstration to raise awareness of domestic violence by wearing a blood-splattered wedding dress in the streets of China.
