The JV/ Varsity baseball teams had the night off of games so they headed over to Greenfield to help with tornado clean up. Thanks to the coaches for taking them over & to the boys for their work! Our hearts are with the Greenfield community as they rebuild. #wintersethuskypride
The 2024 AP Literature reading is underway, here in Salt Lake City and around the country with our at-home readers. Lots of smiling faces this morning—look ar that crowd! Plenty of student responses await us, and they’re ready! #APLit
We’re excited to recognize the exceptional work of our APs during National Assistant Principals Week! They provide crucial support for staff, students, and families—and make WCSD a better place each and every day.
Thank you for your leadership and support! 💫
Attention Husky Nation- Let's show our staff how much we appreciate the work they do everyday to make WCSD an amazing place to work and go to school! Everyone is encouraged to go to https://t.co/IEKMnCMl8b to write a thank you/shout out to ANY staff member!
The AP lit class presented their Vietnam War “Museums” after reading Tim O’Brien’s novel. They were evaluated by several retired WCSD faculty. Students researched the ways the Vietnam War affected a generation. We appreciate the staff all coming back! #wintersethuskypride
We lose the habit of reading because we’re afraid of wasting our time. We think we need to be productive and “on the go” at all times. But people are not machines, and you are nourished by naps and fiction and basking in sunlight, no less than by food and drink.
Congrats to Miles Booton, Jaya Kleemeier, Morgan Sutton, & Sami Craven for earning their Silver Cords for graduation! Each has volunteered over 160 hours. Thanks for your efforts! #wintersethuskypride
