Nigel Farage promised an inquiry into the rape gangs, but he never delivered one. He now says it’s because Maggie Oliver advised him not to, as it wouldn’t achieve anything. He and Reform want the public to wait three years for them to act, when there’s every chance they may never get into power or do anything at all. Why on earth would anyone want to do nothing for three years? We should be fighting every single day to make change, not sitting around waiting for a new government.
Yes, MP Rupert Lowe’s inquiry doesn’t have statutory powers, but that doesn’t mean it can’t achieve anything. It has already raised awareness of the rape gangs and government corruption on a global scale, despite the mainstream media barely going near it, and it has opened criminal investigations to help ensure victims receive justice. It has helped many survivors begin civil action against agencies so they can seek financial compensation, pushing for legal changes, helped rehome survivors to safety, and given them a platform to tell their truth when no one else would. We have much more to do and it will be a great fight ahead of us.
The fact that Reform and others think that is worthless shows how uneducated and selfish they are. They don’t care about the survivors or their families — all they care about is using this issue for political points. Calling the participants “dumb” is deeply disrespectful, but at least they have now shown their true selves.
MP Rupert Lowe started the inquiry when no one else would. His choice.
The public donated the money to fund it. Their choice.
The survivors, families, whistleblowers, and professionals participated. Their choice.
As a collective, we all stood up to try to help others because no one else would, and Reform are constantly attacking the inquiry because they did absolutely nothing, and now the by-election is here.
These people absolutely disgust me.
I want all the survivors, parents, and professionals who are working with our inquiry to know this: I see you, I hear you, and you’re amazing. We will continue to fight, step by step, no matter how long it takes. We’re in this together.
Just to add to the chaos I'm now being told by multiple sources from different parties that canvass returns for Makerfield show Restore significantly outperforming the 7% revealed in the Times poll. I suspect that's what's underpinning the current Reform meltdown.
Rupert Lowe put his own money + crowdfunded £788k from 23k Brits for the independent Rape Gang Inquiry.
Hearings done, report coming, private prosecutions planned.
Farage had a £5m gift in the bank and did nothing.
Action beats words.

I’m sure we have all now seen the footage of Metropolitan rozzers kicking a suspected terrorist in the head, repeatedly, when he was down.
We can all play a part in putting an end to this sort of police brutality. Mainly by not going around stabbing people.
My dad’s parents are both Welsh.
Their parents were also Welsh.
His heritage ties, mostly, to Cardiff.
He was born in England, and has lived in England his entire life.
My dad is Welsh.
It’s as simple as that.
My dad will never be English.
The Welsh and the English are separate ethnicities.
My mother is English. Her ancestors were English, as far as we can date back.
That makes me half Welsh, half English.
And I’m damn proud of it 🏴 🏴
If you believe free speech is for you but not your political opponents, you're illiberal.
If no contrary evidence could change your beliefs, you're a fundamentalist.
If you believe the state should punish those with contrary views, you're a totalitarian.
If you believe political opponents should be punished with violence or death, you're a terrorist.

@Team_Schroder@TicketmasterCS Do you know if there are tickets still available? Ticketmaster isn’t showing any tickets for any of the dates that I can see
Taxi drivers no longer required to speak English in London.
According to the cities far-left mayor, he has removed the requirements for private hire drivers.
“TFL is now pausing enforcement against private hire drivers who have not yet met…the English language requirement.”
