The final weekend of the regular Prem season is gonna be a hell of a thing with all to play for in the top four (except Saints, who have secured top already π).
Absolutely incredible. One of, if not the, game of the season. Was genuinely screaming at the TV with joy as they ran that final try in. What a comeback.
ABSOLUTE SCENES FOR @NCL_RedBulls π±π₯³
An INSANE comeback for the Newcastle Red Bulls as they defeat Sale Sharks after the alarm π¨

@RugbyBath Confused by βno mitigationβ - Dunn has clearly gone into the contact bent at the waist with a knee almost on the floor. Felt like a yellow seemed apt for that.
@Burnagerugby4s I mean Newcastle have made a huge amount of new signings, so theyβre an interesting prospect moving forward. Gloucester have brought in Boyd and are already seeing some of the benefits. Next season does have the makings of being closer, but weβll have to see!
Sure, objectively last nightβs score isnβt good for the Prem. But itβs a shame to see people go straight to whining about it, and a lot of it from fans of a particular club. For now Iβm watching the game back enjoying attacking rugby so good I donβt think anyone could stop it π€·π»ββοΈ
@Burnagerugby4s But agree thereβs certainly a gulf between those 5, and then Bristol, Sale, Gloucester, Quins, Newcastle. But some of those teams can come good next season.
@Burnagerugby4s I donβt know, I think Saints put in some huge defensive shifts that first half to keep them to two scores. Itβs very hard, if not impossible, to keep your foot on the gas when you have a 50+ lead. Contextually I wouldnβt say itβs horrendous defence honestly. Weβve been worse.
@Burnagerugby4s With Bristol, itβs been a recurring issue for them for the past few seasons, not just this one. Iβd say there are 5 clubs ahead of the rest (the top 4 and then Saracens on current form), and then a huge gulf to the rest. A shame certainly, but Iβm still going to enjoy our attack.
@thepaulwilliams Youβre not being really stupid, itβs a very bizarre reasoning. Bristol went as strong as they had considering injuries, which is still a strong side. They looked up for it going in and were still very much in the playoff hunt. They just could not put up with Saints on the night.
Just witnessed magic in real life. Was expecting a reaction from @SaintsRugby after last week, but that was beyond my wildest dreams. Hell of a way to finally get a victory over Bristol. When this team clicks, they are unstoppable πππ€π
Shame to see fans of other English clubs seemingly wanting Bath to lose. Iβm no big fan of theirs, but was absolutely pulling for them to win. Some definite controversial decisions going against them, but Bordeaux were the better team on the day. Great game overall.
Say what you want about the commentary on this game (itβs not good), but theyβre bang on about the farcical nature of French TV directors essentially deciding games. Been an issue for a decade at this point, wild that something has not been done about this sooner.
A late recording this week due to the bank holiday, but this worked out well as we got to discuss the departure of Furbs to Quins & the return of Lawes to the PREM. We then looked back on the victory over Castres to set up a big European Champions Cup QF away to Bath at the Rec!
