@hqtrivia you've inconvenienced us twice tonight and kept us hanging for almost an hour. I suggest an extra life for everyone playing tonight. Make it right #HQTrivia#CrisisCommunications101
Gospel: Jesus fed 5,000 people with just a few loaves and fishes. This was not simply a "miracle of sharing" (i.e., the "nice thought" interpretation). This astounding miracle, included in all four Gospels, is a sign of the abundance of God's love. There is enough for everyone.
With five barley loaves and two fish, Jesus miraculously fed the crowd. We can never underestimate how the Lord will use the efforts, good works and sacrifices we offer to respond to the spiritual and pastoral needs of his people.
The well-funded resistance to the sensible regulation of handguns, the easy availability of semi-automatic weapons and the resistance to preventing people with mental health issues from obtaining them, is a clear participation in evil. This is a life issue https://t.co/lSlfHhtORw
Gospel: Listen to Jesus in today's Gospel: We will be judged on how we treated the poor and marginalized: the hungry, sick, imprisoned. "What you did not do for one of these least ones, you did not do for me." We will be separated into "sheep" and "goats," rewarded or punished.
.@JamesMartinSJ Fr, I don't know how you do it most days but I admire the strength Jesus has given to you. Thank you for every article, speech, and endless humor. You're getting me through the muck. Thanks be to God.
THANK YOU to all the men and women serving us today at home and abroad, keeping Americans safe to celebrate this month's holidays. May this special season bring you love, joy and PEACE - and some yummy food :)
On the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, I'm praying that those who migrate--refugees, asylum seekers and immigrants--maybe treated with dignity and respect. Learn about @IgSolidarityNet's Campaign for Hospitality at: https://t.co/Q45KSrtGxQ #CforH#ShareJourney
When I give what I have (material items, food, my possessions that aren't necessary to my survival), #God gives so much more to me. Please think of the #homeless and #needy this #holiday season.
