At this year's @SMH_Historians meeting, I was appointed as the Graduate Student Representative on the Editorial Advisory Board for the Journal of Military History. As such, I wanted to start a conversation between our Grad students and editors of journals and magazines.

For #SMH2024 I'm hoping to build a panel that discusses US military culture or occupations. I put up a comment in the @SMH_Historians panel builder. I'll be discussing post-WWII occupation of German and how soldier dissatisfaction changed the culture of the US Army.

@GHarward @Historian_Britt It was eye-opening and should be on every WWII list. One of the few comps books I bought instead of getting from the library. I had it on a list for WWII with a section of 10 books on Atrocities/Holocaust.
