A little at-home PE challenge that I made for the kiddos! All you need is a cup and something that resembles a ball (I used rolled up aluminum foil). S’s are encouraged to create their own tricks as well! #HPEatHome#PEatHome#virtuallearning https://t.co/qMXBqei77c
Beanbag Battle with 5th grade. Roll the dice, add up the numbers and jump the sum. Toss a beanbag into the other team’s hoop and roll again. Try to get all the beanbags to the other hoop. Lots of fun! Thanks @OPENPhysEd#physed

🔵Bounce House🔵
Ss are working on catching in #physed today. Bounce the ball on your side to land on the opponent’s side. If it hits the other side, then it’s one point. Continue the process until a player gets to seven points for the win.
Beat the Ball with 5th grade. Runner tries to get down to the spot and back before the throwers and catchers get the ball down and back. Lots of fun and great teamwork! #physed
#PhysEd Frisbee stations! 🥏 Disc golf, Kan Jam, toss and catch, and target practice. Leveled stations are a great way for students to challenge themselves, share space and equipment, and coach and encourage each other! Check out @thepespecialist Frisbee unit!
Should we re-evaluate our #physed curriculum? Some programs are dominated by TGfU game categories: net/wall, striking/fielding, invasion, & target games. What should we include in our program to reflect PA's that S's are more likely to engage in as adults? https://t.co/u5Cvi6AYgH
1/3 Students had a blast today playing a game I call Grand Slam or Home Run Derby ⚾️ Students get into groups of 3-6. One student at a time bats off the tee. The rest of the group stands behind the last cone as fielders. The person with the bat swings: past the first cone: single
Roll & Run. Judge will roll dice into basket and call out number. When Ss hear number called by judge they race to see who can touch that numbered cone and come back to white line first. If tie, RPS. Winner stays. Judge is next opponent. @OlatheElemPE@KAHPERD
A HUGE shout out to @PkPhysEd for our Cooperative Activity we called COLLECTING AND SORTING! Pick up any color hoop using only the jump rope then carry it and place it on the coordinating colored cone. How long will it take the class to clean the floor? #physed
Touchdown Tag 🏈
When tagged, students will grab one football from the bucket. They will then need to carry the football like a running back as they jump on or over the obstacles. When they reach the opposite end they put their football in the empty buckets! #PE#physed
Twister Tag cooperative with 5th grade today. Spin the hoop and try to tag the runner before the hoop goes flat. Players must stay in the area around the hoop. Switch jobs after a tag or the hoop goes flat. Thanks @MrStaupsPE#physed
Check out this activity from @project_physed captured at #SHAPESeattle, Ring of Fire🔥⭕️
It is a great warm-up or bonus activity to incorporate into your class
🐾Homeward Bound🐾
Ss are working on locomotor skills in #physed today. Rescue the dogs (balls) by bringing them back home (hoop) on their leash (hoop). Most dogs rescued wins.
