On Saturday 20 July, my lovely Mum and I attended @ExeterCathedral to hear the Exeter Symphony Orchestra in concert and collect for the Exeter Chiefs Foundation. @childrensociety is one of their chosen 27 charities this season and we were delighted to be offered this opportunity.

Our CheckPoint project, based in Torquay, has existed for over 20 years. It supports children and young people across Devon facing abuse, exploitation and neglect.  We also recently opened two new services in Plymouth working with victims of sexual exploitation and young carers.

Ideally we're looking for someone in mid #Devon to support our work with the #church across the Diocese. You'll be helping us to overturn the damaging decline in children's #mentalhealth and #wellbeing

We had a few children collecting with us this year, which we think helped raise the total. We're hoping to collect again next year, so if you're associated with any uniform groups in Bristol, we'd love to hear if you can support us next time!

The #Winchester Fundraising Committee held their annual Literary Lunch on 13 February, raising an incredible £2169 for @childrensociety! This year’s speaker was Susana Cory-Wright, who is local to Winchester, and has written several very successful historical novels.
