I’m beyond excited to announce my commitment to play D1 soccer at the University of Missouri–Kansas City!
I decided to rep my city and stay close to home! ⚽💙 First I need to thank my parents because without their sacrifice this would not be possible. @ksdehq needs to step in and reinstate Barbara Hart because our kids need her. @bvschools policy MUST change in order to protect kids like my son & the child who Mrs. Hart help. People with #autism deserve to have their dignity & privacy just like neurotypical people.

This easily could have been my son in the hallway. I would want Barbara Hart to preserve my son’s dignity and help him to privacy until he is able to get regulated. The policy in place does not support the welfare of my autistic son or any other special needs student.

My son is in the LIFT program at Sunset Ridge where a beloved teacher was fired this week for helping a student with special needs get regulated away from the eyes of peers. Barbara Hart acted with common sense and compassion.
