My practicum @JHUNursing with Lifeline Critical Care Transport 🚑🚁has been an unbelievable experience. I am grateful to Scott for going above and beyond to further my education. It has been a privilege to learn from him; he is an inspiring nurse and an unbelievable preceptor.
It's hard to believe we will be graduating @JHUNursing in just eight months! Starting nursing school during a pandemic has had its challenges, but we are on our way to becoming resilient #HopkinsNurses.
And here's my other poster on #AAIC20#AAIC2020!
Would be happy to send over the pdf!

5. Don’t announce the changes you’re making to decrease racism. Just do it. And the positive impact will follow suit. For example, diverse your selection of students when recruiting. Don’t brag about your “Diversity and inclusion” policy. Minorities are people, not trophies.
If you're a PI and haven't reached out to your lab, why not? If you're a chair and haven't reach out to your dept, why not? If you're in any position of power, and you haven't said anything, why? Some say they don't want to say anything bc they don't want to make things worse.
Hey San Diego, here's a list of great black-owned restaurants you can get takeout from this week. If you're not in San Diego, go patron your own local black-owned small biz. https://t.co/Z6Pzo6gA0R

Do the math: although the absolute risk reduction is small (0.39%), there are 103,000,000 Americans living with hypertension. If they were all treated, more than 400,000 cases of dementia might be prevented. https://t.co/5H73mnNMkS
Our undergraduate RAs completed their quarterly presentations today, and we are unbelievably astonished by their dedication to these projects. Watch out for these brilliant students; any graduate school would be lucky to have them!
