In solidarity, grief and rage with our black siblings in the UK and the USA we've collated a list of resources from Sheffield and beyond aimed at supporting the Black Lives Matter movement and encouraging white folk to educate themselves in anti racism work.

Proud to be a “Coronavirus Angel”! Yesterday I delivered a birthday cake to Battersea resident Peter on his 93rd birthday - he was born in 1927, the same year as my paternal grandparents and the same day as the queen. Such a pleasure to bring a smile to his face on his birthday!
I pledge to support with deliveries for vulnerable people... my proudest moment so far was delivering a birthday cake to a 93 year old Battersea man yesterday, on behalf of his daughter and @Kambala_RA@AngelsBattersea@klsettlement

The Listening Place provides listening & emotional support to suicidal people, normally face-to-face but presently over the phone due to covid-19. Please consider donating so that volunteers like me can continue this work & extend support to NHS & frontline care workers
If you're fit and healthy, #YourNHSNeedsYou. Working with @GoodSamApp, we've launched NHS Volunteer Responders which means you can now help the most vulnerable people in your community who need to stay home because of #coronavirus. ✊ https://t.co/YFa30ZpklS
"Suicide’s seismic aftermath reverberates on through the years; although the acts themselves might be sporadic, the misery they cause may become routine clinical fare, going on through the decades, spreading through families, undermining relationships, setting off aftershocks"
🌍It's #WorldSuicidePreventionDay. 🤝Prevention is something that we can all play a part in. A short conversation with another person may be enough to make the difference between life and death.
💚‘WAIT’ is a good way to remember how you can support someone who may be suicidal:
❗ In the UK, the suicide rate appears to have risen for the first time since 2013, according to new figures from the @ONS.
❓ So what is going on - and what can change things for the better?

To celebrate #ClearAirDay we’re announcing our biggest-ever #WorldCarFreeDay this September where 20km of roads will close, so we can leave our cars behind and reimagine our city on foot, or by bike. https://t.co/NRLa7yt2qw

@Ella_Rose_HIN Experienced this recently with my partner's indefinite leave to remain application - if 2 reasonably well-educated, native English-speaking professionals find UK immigration incredibly confusing&stressful, what must it be like for most people??
Proud to hear @_Healios_ Founder, Richard Andrews has been appointed to the board of @nhsconfed Mental Health Network
Congratulations to Rich and Catherine Roche @Place2Be
