@peekaboo_jen He’s going to have a lot in store for us. Just wait and see. It looks like his new Spirits venture is going to be bourbon. I can’t wait to try it.
@peekaboo_jen It deserves to be. I’m just upset that it’s almost over. I haven’t seen the end yet, but I feel already that they could’ve done more episodes. What can you do, though that’s life.
@peekaboo_jen@ronile999 Happy Valentine’s Day, loves! Enjoy it with friends and maybe a special loved one or curl up on the couch with some popcorn and watch a certain movie called Love Again. Kisses to you all. 💘
When I was just at the one in New York, there was a lot of tents and they said people started getting there at 1:30 in the morning. I didn’t think that was fair so I’m glad that they changed the rules on this one. That way everyone that wants a bottle could get there at nine or maybe a little bit earlier. It’s just too crazy with people camping out and it’s not fair for the other people. So I agree with the Sassenach staff. This is the first time I heard that you can buy a bottle at another store also and have it signed. Previously, you had to buy the bottle at the store that you were going to on the day of the tour. So things have definitely changed.
I’ve heard him mention that he wanted to do the Lord of the rings thing. He was just throwing it out there for the makers to hear that he was more than willing to be a character on the television show. That would be great. Just like you said he is Samwise and his brother is named after an elf so that would really be going back to his roots. I can’t wait to find out.
People are such jerks. I was with someone this weekend who spent over $30,000 and maxed out all of her credit cards to Sam scammers, supposed Sam, Sam’s management, and supposed Chrissie Heughan. She’s trying to access her money back now. She hired someone to go after them. It was really hard for her to let go of the fact that it wasn’t really Sam that she was talking to for 2 1/2 years. Meeting him helped her a lot. 😔
@PattiStonier@peekaboo_jen He was the sweetest kindest, soft spoken man. It still hasn’t registered in my head that I actually met him. I’m glad I have the photos to remind me that I did. But I’m definitely going to try to see him again.
We waited for five hours and at the end the man was saying there was no more room and I asked him please can you let me in and he moved the gate and he let me and my caregiver in. He was so sweet . On the way out, I gave him a hug and thanked him. I did feel truly bad for the people that didn’t get in and that waited so many hours. Most of them still waited in line to get signed bottles, but some of them snuck around the back to catch Sam as he came out the back door to his gorgeous black Escalade. Of course he let the small crowd take pictures of him, but I don’t know if he signed anything. I would’ve been there too, but like I said, I’m an amputee and I was already in the car. I could see where he was coming out, but I couldn’t get there. It was freezing cold and it was right before the storm hit so it was tough, but it was totally worth the wait. I had a nice short time with the tall Scottish guy. Definitely going to see him again. There was limited amount of gin so when I got there, they were all out so the next time I go I’ll get a signed bottle of gin. I got two signed bottles of scotch today. Security said he should be returning next year when it’s warmer so I’ll be there. I’m thinking about going to Chicago also. They’re already out of the. VIP tickets. I want to get there before the next level are sold out.
@PattiStonier@peekaboo_jen We were in line from 1030 until 3 o’clock and we were the last two people in. There were hundreds of people there. It was freezing, but we all said it was worth it.
