Where is the federal relief for Iowa? 10m acres of crops have been destroyed. Houses. Communities. Wake up federal gov! What because it’s not called a tornado or hurricane you don’t need to act fast? Come On!!
Watch this. It shows why we should all do the right thing and stay home to the fullest extent possible. All of us can help slow the spread of the virus, protecting the elderly, the vulnerable, and each other. https://t.co/FgffQrMVB7

Using steps to see where each students undersanding of part part whole. Tell the student how many, hide a few and ask how many are hidden, student counts 1:1 and student can tell you part part whole. #ianuns
@KellyAnnNeumann @aprilpfortsiowa Absolutely! A lot of my Kindergarteners don't play boardgames at home and get really excited to play at school. They need this for turn taking and so important in developing life long social skills!
Not one way is the right way. Show different ways that students can come up with answers. Also, always ask them why to see what their thinking is. Pushing their thought process a little more. #ianuns
Really liked the idea of having the students count slow. You model and have them do the same. My Kindergarteners tend to count really fast when counting 1:1 and skip a few objects when countng. Also liked the game with the wooden block with action words/dice. #ianuns
Like the idea of having students counting on starting counting on with larger numbers. Also when they are rote counting when they get to 20, 30 holding up 2 and 3 fingers to indicate what comes next. #ianuns
Excited to incorporate the games in my centers. Also using the sunitizing cards. Completely makes sense that students remember if the dots are arranged in a geometrical shape for larger numbers. #ianuns
I teach Kindergarten and I am excited to incorporate games into our daily math centers. I agree that playing math games is very important for our students. My students really enjoy using subitizing cards at the start of every math lesson. #ianuns
It is with Great sadness that our Football Family has learned about the death of Aaron Feis. He was our Assistant Football Coach and security guard. He selflessly shielded students from the shooter when he was shot. He died a hero and he will forever be in our hearts and memories
