I also really like Dragon Quest, especially 8! My favourite character is Eight but I like many others too.

I haven't progressed much regarding the story content in DQ5 but I've been setting up a museum lol. I've also been doing casino games and stuff because I hadn't done much of that before now.

22 hours of DQ5 as of today. Well, there's been another time skip so I'm now travelling and exploring the world with the kids. I really like their party interactions!
Today, I got destroyed by a boss. Looks like it's grinding time!

Well, I made that decision yesterday. The wedding scene was great and the music that plays during the night before is so beautiful! I've played a bit more today (nearly 16 hours in total now.)

I'm 11 hours into DQ5 now. This moment was really sweet. I might draw it at some point!
My current impressions are that both the story and music are great and I'm enjoying the monster collecting so far. Definitely my 3rd favourite DQ at least (sorry DQ6!)

17. Simpsley
I'm a little mixed on this one. The first half certainly had its moments and the set-up was good. However, the pacing was a little too quick for me. I also wasn't a fan of the ending which I felt was a little predictable in hindsight.
My rating: 7/10

Season 37 started airing in the UK on Disney+ yesterday (which I still have somewhat mixed feelings about.) That aside, it's time to start the episode reviews! All episodes will be reviewed the day after they release (mostly Tuesdays.)

16. Extreme Makeover: Homer Edition
I found this really fun overall. I liked the art style changes and there were numerous gags and jokes throughout, especially in the first parody segment. My main issue here was doing the stairs joke twice in the last segment.
My rating: 8/10

I'm roughly 5 hours into DQ5! I witnessed a rather brutal and emotional scene. 😥
The screenshot is from a little earlier in my playthrough. You've had it pretty rough, haven't you Madason? Yes, I used his default name because I couldn't think of one I liked better lol.

I started playing DQ5 yesterday! I've only done the prologue because I had to get up early today. I can't wait to carry on the story! I've heard a lot of great things about it!
