One hundred children have died of starvation in Gaza.

To be clear: That's one hundred preventable deaths.

Starvation is being used as a weapon of war, in clear violation of international law. War Child calls for the immediate and unfettered flow of humanitarian aid into Gaza.

Children in Gaza are starving. The Israeli government has blocked all humanitarian aid & commercial supplies for more than 60 days.
According to the latest report from the IPC, this has led to the entire population of Gaza facing high levels of acute food insecurity.

Humanitarian aid must never be used as a political tool. Saving lives should not be controversial. Laws of war developed over centuries to govern conduct and protect civilians should not now be discarded.

This is Sudan.

Today marks 2 years since violent conflict erupted in the country, impacting the lives of over 25 million people people, including 14 million children who are in urgent need of humanitarian aid.

Our colleague Ibrahim lives in Gaza with his family. He has been displaced by the war multiple times.

His message:

"Do not leave these children alone.
We need you... They need you.
For humanity, if it is not here, in this place... then where is it?"

The Israeli government's decision to suspend all humanitarian aid to the +2M Palestinians in Gaza is breach of International Humanitarian Law. The +1M children in Gaza cannot endure any more. The ceasefire must hold, it must become permanent & the blockade must be lifted.
