This time of year we assess pro’s and con’s of all canola varieties and start getting a plan for what to book in the next month (yes… it’s happening). Just a reminder when looking at maturity and lodging make sure you compare 🍎 to 🍎. Plant stand densities have a huge impact.

As difficult as #fertilizer markets are to call, the focus is simple:

N - European natural gas / Chinese exports
P - Chinese exports
K - Lithuania blocking Belarus shipments

Each is more politically driven than fundamentally...and that makes it very hard to call.

Global and NOLA #urea higher double digits this morning (after up double digits yesterday) on rumors that India is struggling to get high priced offers to drop. May fall well short of purchase needs and force a retender.
