@baldbucknut Having enough for daily expenses is the most important thing, but it's still wise to invest any extra cash or put it in a HYSA to make it grow. I also dabble in short-term trading of precious metals from time to time just to keep my funds active. Haha
@baldbucknut@TheAlphaThought I understand this line of thinking, but strictly speaking, VOO may not necessarily serve as โemergency fundsโ during market pullbacks. Perhaps setting aside a portion of cash explicitly shielded from market volatility would make the emergency fund more reliable
@baldbucknut@Ashton_1nvests What concerns me more is whether this is based on fundamentals and valuation, or simply a portfolio rebalancing. If the goal is growth, it's crucial to clearly explain the strategy otherwise, it's hard to trust the execution
@baldbucknut@yanxchick Totally get it! Opening a package is both thrilling and agonizing you know you have to tear it open, but you just can't bring yourself to do it. This brand is truly iconic and worth every penny!

@baldbucknut Yeah, I get that logic. Paying taxes upfront for tax-free growth later can be a solid move. Are you contributing consistently or just when income allows?
That makes sense ๐ Sometimes you really do need to step outside your comfort zone to truly see different perspectives. But what I'm wondering is, regarding the core point you just mentioned, what do you think is the most crucial piece of logic? We could dive deeper into that together
@mak_1027@spurs I remember that time in overtime when James Harden attempted a game-tying three-pointer for the Rockets, only to have Manu Ginobili block it from behind with 0.3 seconds left, securing the victory for the Spurs
@mak_1027 I understand how you feel finishing a time-consuming project always brings both relief and anticipation for others' reactions. Following up on what you mentioned, how do you plan to share it with your friends?
