The @theCCCuk recommendation to cut food waste by 20% in UK by 2050 does not seem too ambitious.

There are 13,600,000 tonnes of food wasted in the UK annually.

Meanwhile, there are record queues at food banks & livestock farmers continue to take the blame for GHG emissions.

Three methods of spreading slurry examined, grass cut and spread on 23rd April. Grass covers measured this week -1200kg for splash plate section, 2100kg for tailing hose and 2200kg for trailing shoe, nearly doubled growth with different application methods @FJBeef #DairyBEEF2019
