#Quills2022 fun #writingtip—make goals attainable/fun by centering them around rejections! I.e. “This year I will get 30 short story rejections.”

Then when you randomly get an acceptance, you can tell yourself, “Oh, looks like I need to work harder towards my goal!” 🤣

@DRWrites1 Hmm interesting, do you take the time for each new character to introduce their pronouns? In real life this is admirable, but I don’t know if I’ve seen an example of published writing doing this.

Current class is discussing gendered words, and there was some pushback on the idea that sci-if ships shouldn’t be referred to as ‘she’ (in English of course).
