I've never seen such despicable bigotry towards Hinduism as what I see directed towards my friend @TulsiGabbard - it's absolutely abhorrent and if she were a democrat none of this would be happening.
She is the most independent minded, free thinking politician in America today. Full Stop. Which is why she can't be bought and is a threat to the establishment and deep state - this is why places like the Washington post are trying to hurt her.
I wish everyone knew Tulsi the way I do. She loves America and would give her life defending our values and freedom. She is kind, sweet, generous with her time, prays for you when you need it, selfless, incredible with my children and the kind of friend I can call at 2am in an emergency and would show up for you. The way strangers respond to her in person is not like normal politicians, they want to know her and feel safe opening up to her.
I am just so exhausted with the baseless slander directed at her. We all have different backgrounds that should be celebrate and not demonized.
I for one hope she runs for President in 2028.
@JohnCornyn Why don’t YOU work to get the votes too! This is about the future of our elections. We cannot allow the absolute absurdity of our elections to remain the norm. Voter ID is an obvious need. So do it!
@ThrillaRilla369 Yes, but I DO actually think it’s a good sign that a man felt suspicious and raised an alarm. If it had been a trafficking situation, those kids would have had rescue. No one was in the wrong in that situation. The employee did the best she could too.
@AppyOrtho I’m so torn because on the one hand I do want that for my kids, on the other hand I want them home with me and having adventures every day instead of a factory school. And I say this as a former classroom teacher. You make a great point, not sure where I land.
Soft on crime policies actually increase racism, xenophobia, anti-immigration sentiment, and other things that 'progressives' claim to worry about.
Nobody wants 'diversity' if they associate it with potentially getting stabbed, robbed, or raped.
Hotter take: For the full American experience, the 2026 World Cup Final should be a noon game in Tuscaloosa.
Make the Euros fly into Birmingham, drive an hour through the deep south, give them some Dreamland BBQ and yellowhammers before watching them melt in 95 degree weather.
@MrsCMFrancis 100% agree. The payoff is worth it. Doing the difficult things make us stronger and braver and it’s the right entry to motherhood. Looking back (and my kids are still little) the birth was the easy part. It was empowering in that it was a dying to self physically.
@HannahWardEdu My stepdaughter’s mom died when she was 1… and my husband’s total failure to meet that moment has had epic consequences over a decade later. Yes, it absolutely does matter, and what we do (or fail to do) as a parent will matter.
@ZachCostello_ I don’t judge people who do genetic testing. I know 2 moms who had in- utero surgery on spina bifida babies as a result. A miracle of science that made life possible for their babies.
