Many parents in #OttawaCentre are raising concerns about OCDSB’s proposed boundary changes, which could separate siblings, lengthen commutes, and disrupt communities. While the plan is meant to improve access, it risks doing the opposite.

I am hearing the same from parents in Ottawa West-Nepean. While education is not in federal jurisdiction, I would like to add my voice to those calling on OCDSB to provide more time for real consultation and listening.
People should be able to depend on public transit to get where they need to go on time. That’s why, we’re working alongside our municipal partners to deliver high-quality, affordable transit networks.
This week, we announced over $2.2 billion of funding to strengthen and expand public transit across 42 Ontario municipalities. This money will ensure communities have the stable, long-term funding they need, and support greater density near transit stations.
