As our 6th grade students practiced for their promotion ceremony, former students—now recent high school graduates—surprised them with a visit, sharing their experiences and announcing the universities they’ll be attending. Go Hawks!
Today, we recognized the Rubio’s Foundation, our School Site Council members, and dedicated parent volunteers for their invaluable support throughout the school year. We also held a bike raffle for students with perfect attendance, generously sponsored by the Rubio’s Foundation.
Our ILT (Instructional Leadership Team) retreat took place at Harden Ranch. Principal Anaya, coaches, and grade-level reps met at Harden Ranch to review data, revise the mission and vision, and plan 2025–26 initiatives, including a Math RTI block. Go Hawks!

We had a fantastic turnout at our recent Coffee Klatch meeting! Mrs. Bravo, our dedicated ELD Specialist, led an engaging session on strategies parents can use to support their children to prepare them for the ELPAC. Parents practiced answering sample question on the 4 domains.

The Alisal Rotary visited our school today to distribute dictionaries to all our 3rd-grade students. We extend a heartfelt thank-you to the Alisal Rotary for their generosity. Our students were thrilled to receive these dictionaries, which will help them define unfamiliar words.
Our school was thrilled to participate in the wonderful Brighter Bites program once again this academic year. Today’s distribution was a success as parents picked up their boxes of fresh vegetables. Together, we’re making a positive impact! Go Hawks!

We had a successful Professional Development day, during which Jennifer from ESS led a session on supporting teachers in understanding and managing classroom stress. Additionally, our Math TOSA, Lucy, conducted a workshop aimed at enhancing academic discourse in math instruction.
Our students and parents had a wonderful time at our Halloween parade, where students proudly displayed their costumes and received reminders about staying safe while trick-or-treating. Go Hawks.
