At @Harvard “Jewish and Israeli students are scared, have been ostracized from their communities and are afraid for their safety.”
Read this powerful and damning alumni letter to the administration.

It's important to make clear that Kevin from Pennsylvania is spouting bigoted, ahistorical nonsense. He's certainly entitled to say what he wants, but part and parcel of free speech is for others to point out when that speech is asinine and untrue.
@roripn@russelneiss@tashakaminsky As I told Sarah Lefton, she makes a mean rack of lamb. I'm not sure it's enough, given the current state of affairs. But we must take whatever comforts we can.
@MyroHartmond I was living in New York at the time, and most of what I called "research" consisted of going to shows, having drinks with gallerists, and otherwise being a fly on the wall. It was an extraordinarily pleasurable way to work.
@MyroHartmond Hi Myroslava. Thank you! Yes, several people brought it to my attention. The preview had me concerned. Then I watched the whole film and my feeling was that any similarities are superficial, borne largely out of a common source of inspiration: the work oh Henry Darger.
@Peakdrives Hi there. The original title was The Brutal Art. My American publisher didn't like the title and told me to change to The Genius. But my UK publisher liked The Brutal Art and insisted on keeping it. Hence the confusion. Sorry. It drives me crazy, too.
@wallenfe Hi Brian. Thanks for the interest. I wrote about this on my Facebook pages (where I do most of my communicating with readers): https://t.co/PBcC3zugEQ
The short answer is: I'd like to, very much. The reality of the book market is that I'm not sure I'll ever be able to.
This college admissions cheating scandal is so sad. I didn't need some expensive third-party fixer to get into Harvard. I did it the old-fashioned way: by directly bribing people in the admissions office.
What's a word you know how to pronounce but consistently mishear in your head when reading? Mine is "misled." I always read it as "maizeled," which sounds like Yiddish. The Marvelous Mrs. Misled!
ATTN DC metro area people. I am seeking a research assistant to help me obtain historical records from the National Archive. The work is sporadic but paid. Students welcome. Please message me if you know anyone who might be interested. Thank you!
