This is gorgeous... Great design, great modeling, great texturing, great camera work, great editing, great sound design. So good.
Full project link is in the description as well.

I'm a fan of boost. I have one car that's turbo and the other is supercharged.
But man, these snappy over-square N/A motors that are coming out are so lovely!
This new Vette powerplant is a work of art.

Huh, that's an interesting idea. Remove reverse and let the electric motor handle that to keep the gearbox simple and compact. I love things like that that are a bit of a rethink. "Of course a transmission needs forward and reverse gears... doesn't it?"

That's an interesting idea. But quieter than a roots supercharger? What's the point!? As far as I'm concerned, my supercharger is on there strictly for the whining sounds when I hit the loud pedal. The midrange power is just a bonus. π

Birds are amazing machines. This reminds me of the time Destin was talking about one of his early Smarter Every Day videos about chicken head tracking and he said "Holy crap... a chicken is an IMU" (Inertial Measurement Unit)π€£

Anyone do any fun projects over the long weekend? I didn't have much time but I modeled up a mount for my key-less ignition retrofit on the Buell. Picked the kit up from one of our customers, The Motoworks! It's on the printer this morning and hopefully on the bike this evening!
We set out to decide whether robots were a net positive or negative. We left confused as to what a robot even is...
Tune in to see how we talked ourselves out of knowing anything at all!

I've been staring at this bike for like 2 weeks straight now.
I'm generally not into land-speed style aesthetics, but this does it for me.
I'd love to see what they did for the 3D printing process on the body work!

Wow! 15 Boom jets ordered for United Airlines. It will be cool to see these flying. I enjoyed hearing them speak in general session a few years ago!

I just watched The Midnight Sky on Netflix the other weekend. Who else noticed the 3DConnexion mice as controllers?
One of the super-talented guys in my Blender groups built the model of the Aether Ship for this movie!

I guess I'm on an "additive optimization" kick this week. I posted about BottPower's faring stay they designed with this process but they've moved on to structural components! Super cool stuff.
