I cannot fully express my anger and disappointment in the NB govt.
As the Pride flag is raised on Parliament Hill, kids are waking up in NB and being told they don’t have the right to be their true selves. Putting lives at risk.

@0liviajulianna I was planning to travel through there for a cruise but not anymore. That is 4 people not paying into their economy. I know it's only 4 but I'm sure we're not the only ones steering clear to stay safe.

This #IDAHOBIT, we join the international community in standing firmly against homophobia, transphobia & biphobia.
While much progress has been made, living an authentic life still remains a distant dream for many LGBTQ young people across the world. We see you. We love you 🧡
It's the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersexphobia, and Transphobia!
Today we celebrate the diversity of sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, and sex characteristics across humanity.

From coast to coast to coast, hate is rising.
From coast to coast to coast, governments aren’t acting. Aren’t taking steps to address hate. Aren’t doing enough - or much at all - to support inclusion and safety for queer and trans people.
Shame.
We’re heading into Pride Season - a time of celebration, reflection and activism - amidst a troubling surge in anti-queer and anti-trans hate. Pride organizations are worried. Community is scared.
Where - beyond statements and photo ops - are 🇨🇦 governments amidst rising hate?
