@gothamhiphop Hiphop is about expression and release, it doesn’t have to be egotistical at all times, you can have rappers taking different perspectives to tell a story rather than bragging about whatever. He could’ve pivoted with that but it always had to come back to how he would be received

@gothamhiphop I did - these are just my thoughts. He mentioned his Jackman project, which to me speaks that he’s aware of how that album was received. Then recorded rap records after jackman and him being tired of the braggadocious nature of rap (which imo isn’t the core of hiphop at all)
