@alexgreer210 Alex that is absolutely horrible! I am so sorry to hear that. Bullying is a horrible thing that has significant consequences. I tell my kids all the time that they don’t have to like everyone but I do expect them to respect everyone they cross paths with.
Friends of a15-year old boy who committed suicide because of #bullying said they didn't report it because they worried the bullies would retaliate, and they did not want to be considered “snitches.” https://t.co/2HOzcB5iAP #JackStrong#BullyingIsNeverOk#DontBeAfraidToSpeakUp

@ms_sward Thank you! Mental health is a huge piece that often goes undiagnosed/treated. Many veterans view mental health as a weakness and choose not to get help or support. So sad because with the right treatment plans and support it’s possible they could live such fulfilling lives.
I know the author of this letter (it’s me)! Thank you Delmarva Now for publishing my letter and bringing awareness to others. Our veterans deserve our help and support. #SUsocialwork https://t.co/Ov6nUvTtYo
@brjehorn6 You are so right! What we need to be doing is looking more at what’s causing the bullying. We will forever be like a dog chasing its tail if we don’t get to the root cause(s) of what’s driving the bullying.

Don’t forget to wear blue tomorrow to bring awareness to prevent child abuse and neglect. No child deserves to be mistreated and it’s our job to protect them. #SUSocialWork
@Shackley_SOWK If this is working, it is common sense that other communities should follow their lead. I am so happy for this community and hope that other communities will implement similar policies. Insurance companies really need to stop dictating treatment and allow people to get help.
@KeishaRose18 What an interesting perspective! I have always been a sponge bob fan and think it’s great that a person dealing with depression and mental health was able to see some common characteristics with one of the characters. Hopefully it was beneficial!
I’m so happy to see places like this opening up to provide more treatment to adolescents. Hopefully other cities will follow their lead. #SUsocialwork https://t.co/TlJUWzOOv5
@AmberRWhitaker This is sad in so many ways. How such a minimum sentence was given for such a horrible crime is beyond me. My heart breaks for the victim and her family.
@KathrineMangold It’s definitely worth listening to what kids have to say. They are so insightful and offer a unique perspective. It’s really sad that it took something as terrible as this for this brave girl’s voice to be heard.
