Three years ago, Hamas carried out the deadliest attack on Jewish people since the Holocaust. Today, Israel is remembering the victims of Oct. 7 while building new ways to ensure their stories are never forgotten.
On Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas terrorists crossed into Israel, killing roughly 1,200 people, injuring thousands, and taking 251 hostages. Of those killed, at least 809 were civilians, including at least 280 women and 40 children.
Now, the places scarred by the attack are becoming places of remembrance. At the Nova festival grounds, photos and personal memorials honor those killed. Trees are being planted for victims, while Israel has passed a law paving the way for a national memorial, museum, and archive dedicated to preserving testimony and artifacts from that day.
Three years after the attack, Israel is working to make remembrance permanent, preserving the names, faces and stories of those lost for generations to come.

"Ken Paxton will get in there and get things done. He’s not afraid."
Dallas Cowboys legend and Pro Football Hall of Famer Randy White is throwing his support behind Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton in the state’s closely watched U.S. Senate race.
White says the endorsement is personal. He points to his relationship with Paxton and their shared work on child safety and opioid awareness, an issue that hits especially close to home after White lost his son-in-law to an accidental opioid overdose.
And White has plenty more to say about the race and Paxton's Democratic opponent, James Talarico.

EXCLUSIVE: Nolan Wells’ friends are breaking down the play-by-play timeline of the final hours before he went missing.
Around 4:30 p.m., one of the three boats starts taking on water. His friends scramble to pump it out, but the batteries are underwater and the boat shuts down.
As everyone prepares to leave, they say Nolan is urged to get on another boat, but he chooses to stay behind with a girl after saying he has a ride back.
Hours later, his friends realize no one has heard from him. By around 11 p.m., Warren Hudson calls Nolan’s mother and then the Coast Guard.
Nearly 48 hours later, they get the devastating news that Nolan’s body has been found.
