Fifth grade students record themselves reading “A Road Not Taken” but little do they know they had to analyze the poem for tone, meaning, narrator’s point of view, pace and more! They said it’s hard!

2nd and 4th grade working hard on math concepts. My 2nd graders played a game to add then subtract the sum from 15 then 20 and the 4th graders were introduced to division! Yeah!

Second graders focus on ways to write numbers. I loved how so many of them asked how to spell numbers when using word form! They really take ownership of their learning at @d54armstrong. Some students chose to use a text box to show their work while others chose other methods!

5th Grade write down their Peak Moment from literacy acceleration. Some students loved using Google Keep while others admired their peers taking risks to answer questions!
