@gavincoleman_ @APforStudents Seems pretty specific actually. So many students who don't show dimensional analysis end up with the wrong answer because their units don't reconcile.
@SaherZaman7@CollegeBoard @paleti_shivani Harsher equating process to account for differences in difficulty between test forms. Technically, curve is the wrong word because student performance doesn't affect this equating process.
@julie_filby I'd like to point out that due to inflation $37,600 in 2007 is actually equal to $44,400 in 2017. This means that the true cost of college has only gone up ~6% and not the ~25% you're claiming.
@D31581072 @connorcaughs @BobbyXiao1@CollegeBoard Fortunately, I got a very good (perfect) ACT score and am not applying to any super selective universities so I should be in the clear. However, this will be a problem for the students you're speaking of.
@D31581072 @connorcaughs @BobbyXiao1@CollegeBoard Many people were planning to take the subject tests in October and you can't take both tests on the same day.
@Roro_Strudel@CollegeBoard When's the last time a news article from the mainstream media was written about the movement. You've gone from getting more than 3,000 signatures a day to only about ~70. Also, speaking in different languages does not help your point!
@wujuseulgi Actually, since people already took and got scores from this test, (most of) the curve has been calculated on Reddit: https://t.co/TI7CeNE2Ms
@EmilyW52240@stev3wang@GT_BRO@CollegeBoard Personally, if only 400 students out of more than 200,000 had this advanced knowledge then it's not that big of an issue. That's less than 1/5 of 1% and should not require canceling everybody's scores.
@iStrykr@yang_qifan@CollegeBoard It's not clear right now, as @CollegeBoard has yet to submit any statement regarding this test security breach. My best guess is no because it would be a logistical nightmare to arrange a retest date and a PR nightmare to cancel hundreds of thousands of tests with no remedy.
